Walk to represent TBS-EV and support Israel at the same time! On Sunday January 31st there will be a Tu B'Shevat Jewish National Fund Walk at Tempe Beach Park. This will include Israeli food, dancing, and entertainment. TBS-EV is going to have our own walking team so we can all represent our Synagogue to the greater Arizona Jewish community by being on the team. You can join the team without walking too! There are pledging opportunities to support the TBS-EV team with 100% of those donation going directly to TBS-EV. Each pledge will get a shirt too at the event as well! The great thing is if we get 36 or more walkers for the 5k or the short walk we will get a free booth at the event to promote our congregation.

Registration is $18 which goes to benefit the Aleh Negev School for Special Needs, a state-of-the-art Rehabilitative Village situated in the Negev that will meet the needs of the severely disabled by providing high-level medical and rehabilitative care. This also gets you a JNF Tu B'Shevat Walk tee-shirt! The event and walker registration begins at 11:30 AM there will be Israeli food and dancing then the walk will being at 1:00 PM. There are 2 walks one is a 5k (3.1 miles) and a short walk which starts at 1:15 that will be 1 mile.
