At Temple Beth Sholom we are blessed with a high number of dedicated volunteers who contribute countless hours of time and energy to make our community vibrant and productive. But there are many costs that cannot be met by volunteers.

Beyond membership dues, our synangoue depends on creative fundraising and donations to maintain our facilities, fund events, and to pay our excellent staff.

There are so many ways you can support our community including direct donations and a variety of ongoing passive fundraisers. Most of these fundraisers involve a very small investment of your time and then bring money to the synagogue over and over again. A household participating in these programs can easily generate $200 to $2000 a year. Have a look, sign up, and start contributing today!

Internet Searches:

Set your internet search engine to goodsearch.com (powered by Yahoo) and TBS earns money on every search. Choose Temple Beth Sholom (Chandler, AZ) from the charity list.

Escrip Programs:

Register all of your cr edit cards at escrip.com and a percentage of your purchases will be donated back to TBS. Also sign up for an escrip credit card and a percentage of all purchases return to TBS. Also, you can earn cash for TBS when you shop online through escrip.com.

Online Shopping:

Use the Box Tops for Education website to logon to your favorite onl ine shopping sites for books, clothes, software, household items and more. Merchants contribute a percentage of purchases back to us. Sign up for the Box Tops credit card to earn donations with every purchase.

Grocery Shopping:

Enroll in a grocery program at Fry's, Albertson's, Basha's, Safeway and AJ's. All will donate a portion of your grocery bill back to TBS. Click here for the information you need to get linked.

Up to 8.5% of all purchases you make using this link will benefit TBS.

Printer Cartridges:

Empty inkjet printer cartridges dropped off at the TBS office are redeemed for cash. Do you know of a business that could help us out on this one? to make arrangements.

Donate a Vehicle:

The auction company will come pick up your vehicle and sell it for you. The blue book value is tax deductible and TBS earns cash from the sale. for more information.

Cell Phones:

Upgrading your cell phone? Donate your old one to the temple. We send it in for cash and keep those harmful batteries out of the ground.

Recycle Paper:

Junkmail, newspapers, kids' old schoolwork, phone books and magazines: drop them off at temple and TBS gets cash.
